Details of accommodation

calendarSwallows Cottage is entered by a large stable door and there is a fully-equipped kitchen/dining room leading off the hallway. Its original arched window looks out towards the small livery stables. The generous living room faces southwest and opens onto a secure, walled, courtyard garden. There is also a W.C. and shower on this floor.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom, while on the second there is an en-suite master bedroom. The original king post beams have been left exposed giving great character to this room.

Sleeps up to 8
Bedroom 1:
Family room - double + 2 singles if required.
Bedroom 2: Twin - these beds can be linked together.
Bedroom 3: Twin.

Swallows Cottage was, in its days as part of the Granary, home to several swallows who returned each year. Fortunately, they still nest in the small livery stables opposite.

We have a very strict no smoking and no pets policy in both these cottages so they are particularly suitable for people with allergy problems.

calendarPond Cottage, as its name suggests, has the shallow waters of the pond adjacent to its sheltered garden where ducks love to be fed. It has a generous, fully-equipped kitchen/dining room. The living room catches the afternoon and evening sun and has a wood-burning stove. On the first floor, the main double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath, washbasin and W.C. The second bedroom has twin beds and there is a further bathroom and W.C. on this floor.

Sleeps up to 4
Bedroom 1:
double + en-suite.
Bedroom 2: Twin.

Swallows and Pond are next door to each other and can be linked internally using a door connecting the living rooms to create a quality, five bedroom unit sleeping up to twelve. However, anyone taking a cottage on its own need not fear noise from their neighbour as the walls are old and thick!
